Tannersville, Pa. — WEICHERT, REALTORS® – Acclaim recently presented backpacks filled with school supplies to five schools throughout the area. Students at Jim Thorpe, Pleasant Valley, Pocono Mountain and Stroudsburg School District were the recipients of book bags. Presentations were made to the schools’ guidance counselors, who in turn, selected the children most in need of the back-to-school assistance.
The Tannersville firm’s President/CEO Charlie Marzzacco and Broker of Record Michelle Cappabianca thanked members of the Weichert® sales team for taking the time to donate the free backpacks stuffed with school supplies, saying “Your token of giving personifies the integrity and responsiveness that is the culture of our company.”
. “Next year we plan to do more and have more to donate, and also hope to involve the community in this worthwhile project,” said the agency’s Special Events Coordinator Sharon Wade. “Every child deserves to go back to school with a shiny new backpack and supplies to get started.”
