Stroudsburg, PA — ESSA Bank and Trust announces the addition of William E. Evans as Trust Officer. He is responsible for providing investment, trust and estate administrative services to customers of the Bank, as well as developing new business in the Greater Pocono and Lehigh Valley regions.
Prior to joining ESSA, Evans was Vice President and Wealth Sales Representative for National Penn Investors Trust Company. He has over 25 years of experience in the banking industry as both a vice president and trust officer. Bill is also an active member of the Lehigh Valley Estate Planning Council.
A graduate of Millersville University with a BS degree in Business Administration and Finance, Evans also earned the Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation awarded by the Institute of Certified Bankers (ICB), a subsidiary of the American Bankers Association (ABA) in Washington, DC. Additionally, Bill graduated from the ABA National Graduate Trust School in 1996.
