NEPA Alliance Reduces Interest Rate to 2% on USDA Rural Development Loan Program

Pittston, PA – In order to help businesses retain or expand employment, meet market opportunities, and attract additional investment, the Northeastern Pennsylvania Alliance (NEPA) has announced a reduction in the rate of interest charged for the US Department of Agriculture- Rural Development (IRP) Loan Program.  The rate will go from 4% to 2%.

“The low interest rate provides a unique opportunity for businesses to expand in this challenging economic environment,” said Paul Macknosky, Business Finance Specialist with NEPA.
