Eastburg Community Alliance Annual Christmas Tree Lighting, Dec 3rd

0

East Stroudsburg, PA – ECA will proudly host its Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on Friday, December 3rd at 5:30 p.m. in Miller Park on Crystal Street in East Stroudsburg.

Young and old will find a variety of activities to celebrate this special season. The evening will be filled with singing of Holiday favorites by New Approach’s singers, warm hot cocoa and refreshments and the main event of decorating and lighting the community Christmas Tree. Children (and the child in all of us) will be delighted by the guest appearance of Santa Claus who will be delivered from the North Pole and brought into town by East Stroudsburg’s Fire Department. Photos with Santa will be added to this year’s event to help raise funds for the historic Dansbury Depot Rehabilitation Project. Attendees will also have chances to win prizes from downtown merchants. Last, but certainly not least, the ECA has organized a food drive to benefit the Salvation Army. Anyone who is able, is requested to bring a canned good or non-perishable food item for donation with them that evening to help families in need this Holiday Season.

This annual tree lighting is organized by the EastBurg Community Alliance as an occasion for the residents, business owners, and visitors of East Stroudsburg to come together to share holiday joy and the spirit of togetherness. We encourage you and your family to visit our downtown shops and patron your local businesses this Holiday season.

Events sponsored by the Eastburg Community Alliance (ECA) are able to be successful because of the generosity of the ECA media partners; Local Flair Magazine, Nassau Broadcasting, Orobo Design Studios and the Pocono Record.
