French Duo Jac & Co. To Perform At The Cooperage Friday, May 29Th

On Friday, May 29th, Jac & Co. will perform at The Cooperage, 1030 Main Street in Honesdale.  Doors open at 7:00pm and the music will start at 7:30pm.

For over 27 years, virtuoso accordionist Jacques Pellarin has brought the sounds of the French countryside to all corners of the globe.  After years of touring with the “Jacques Pellarin Trio”, Pellerin is now touring the East Coast with his lifelong muse, Corine Pellarin, as “Jac & Co.”

With just vocals and the accordion, “Jac & Co.” captivates their audiences and transports them to the dance halls and street side cafés of France’s yesteryears.

According to the French magazine Le Progrès, they “bring back almost a century of the traditional French ‘chanson’ songs in the likes of Édith Piaf, Yves Montand and Francis Lemarque.”

With international song placements, seven albums and multiple international tours, Jacques Pellarin has shared his french cinema-inspired accordion compositions with world-wide audiences.
