Green Tourism Conference 2015

0
At the Woodloch Resort in Hawley, PA- Trip Advisor’s #1 Resort for Families in America, 2015
What do a Trout Fishing center, an Eagle Institute, a Trail Keeper, a World Renowned Resort and a Green Lodging Partnership have in common? They all formed partnerships to improve marketing, increase efficiency and share ideas.  What they have to say will wake you up faster than the gourmet coffee at the 2015 Green Tourism Conference Partnership Breakfast.

Hosted by the Delaware Highlands Conservancy, the Partnership Breakfast tells how partnering helped:

  • Roscoe, NY become Trout Town, USA with worldwide stature.
  • Make it easier for the Eagle Institute to attract even more visitors to the Delaware River corridor.
  • A small trail-keeping group to have a big web impact.
  • Woodloch to the top as Trip Advisor’s #1 Family Resort.
  • Large and small lodging providers improve traffic for all and
  • Ignite green tourism dialogue throughout the area.

On the Breakfast Menu:

  • Elaine Fettig, of the Sullivan County Visitors Association, who left Citigroup for the Catskills and helped land a “big one” for Roscoe, NY.
  • Carl Wilgus, who was the Director of Tourism for the State of Idaho before he move to the Poconos to head the Pocono Mountain Visitors Bureau.
  • Bob Kiesendahl, who represents the third generation of his family’s Woodloch Pines, our host property.
  • Sue Currier, of the Delaware Highland Conservancy, who left management in the telecommunications world to direct the organization that protects over 14,000 acres.

Join us for a full breakfast and a plate full of great partnering ideas.
